Alistair Creevy
Hello and thank you for visiting our website. I am Managing Director of Independent Advisers (Scotland) Ltd and established Company in July 2003 after 25 years working in financial services.
I have worked with major Life Offices such as Clerical Medical, Standard Life and Pearl Group in various management positions. I also served as Chairman for the Life Assurance Association in West of Scotland. I am currently a member of both the Personal Finance Society and The Institute of Financial Planning and am qualified as a Certified Financial Planner.
My main objective since I left the management side of the profession was to establish a practice which would provide a service and commitment to clients which I feel has been lost within the major companies and banks who are more interested in profit and sales driven.
It is probably best summed up in quote from the late President Roosevelt: ‘People may forget what you said, they may forget how you spoke but they never forget how you made them feel’.
Service is a word overused in my professional and so many promises are broken. I have built up my Practice based on honesty, integrity and professionalism.
Please feel free to contact me should you wish to discuss and review your financial goals and I look forward to being of service to you.

My career in financial services began in 2004 after I graduated from the University of Strathclyde. Having worked for Abbey and Norwich Union in various administrative and customer service roles, I developed a good understanding of how things operate behind the scenes within the industry before progressing to become a Financial Adviser with Co-operative Insurance in 2006.
I joined IAS in 2009 in order to provide my clients with truly impartial advice from the whole market and to make sure I am able to offer the very best value and customer service possible.
I hold the CeFA (financial advice) and CeMAP (mortgage advice) qualifications and am currently working towards developing my skills further through the Diploma in Financial Planning.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for a review of your personal financial plans and to see how we can help you to achieve your goals.

I have worked in the Financial Services Industry for over 7 years now. I joined IA Scotland in October 2006 after a successful career working as a Mortgage Adviser for Slater Hogg & Howison, and prior to that as a Financial Adviser for the CIS.
The main reason for joining IA Scotland was to offer my clients a fully independent service in all areas of financial planning, rather than being limited to a small choice of financial products. In essence I can now offer my clients a better more personalised service, fully tailored to their needs!
My main business areas within the company are dealing with mortgage enquires and related protection products, although this year I aim to branch out into investments and pensions also in order to offer a wider service to you my clients.
In 2008 we opened a 2nd office in Airdrie with the purchase of
Raymond Logan Mortgage & Property Services, which is an established Estate Agency & Letting Agency in the Lanarkshire area.
Please feel free to contact me should you wish to review your mortgage or if you are thinking of buying a new home, or indeed to discuss any area of financial planning on 07739 148 180.

I joined IAS in January 2011, which was my introduction to financial services, after working previously in construction. My role within the company is predominantly supporting both the advisers and clients through research and reporting.
As a Paraplanner I correspond with clients, be it through letters summarising business or even, in many cases, as the first point of contact on the phone to deal with any queries or updates needed. Researching the best possible financial vehicles for each individual client's needs is an important part of my remit. In 2012 I will be working towards a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
